The first chapter shows the production phase and general attributes displayed by this new type of product category. In the chapter “Presentation” the product is staged using abstraction and spatial examples. The way in which the key visuals have been composed plays with targeting the contrast between true and false while demonstrating the flooring in its multifaceted possibilities for use. The overview pages for the different decors are characterised by their white space in order to underscore the product’s quality. Motifs of printing cylinders form a subtle background layer. Two high-quality sample books bound in linen supplement the catalogue. Product cards remain the only give-aways offered.
