Kiton

Showroom

The fashion house Kiton, in the Via S.Andrea, in the centre of Milan, presents it’s collection within a listed building. The showrooms feature a continuous theme: sculptural walls, which either stand on the floor or are suspended from the ceiling. In the showroom for men’s clothing, the L-shaped collection rails, from which the exhibits hang, in front of dark, hardwood panels, are set into the floor. Standing free from the walls, they generate a second open space. This principal is reversed in the showroom for ladieswear: white, sculptural wall panels, lit from behind, are suspended from the walls and ceiling. The collections hang from brushed stainless steel panels, which create a second layer. A corridor connecting both of these rooms, features large, illuminated, slides, showing the traditional hand-production methods of the company.
