Tubic

A simple workshop lighting fixture was the role model for Tubic. With an architect’s eye Hadi Teherani transformed this everyday tool into an appealing lighting object for residential space. In doing so, the fluorescent lamp is now shielded by a slender pipe comprised of matted aluminium or burnished with a high-gloss silver & nickel finish. Tubic is finely crafted down to the last detail and offers the greatest possible flexibility because it can be freely rotated and is easy to transport. The lighting tube rests on a narrow bracket without being permanently attached to it, though the fixture can also be mounted on a wall.
