Sign

With “Sign”, Hadi Teherani applies the characteristic roof shape he designed for Zayed University in Abu Dhabi to an object in the tradition of decorative tabletops. This futuristic, multifunctional and suspended microarchitecture even involves tasks comparable to that of its role model: Whereas the roof creates a complex cohesiveness for the various building sections, the table architecture provides a centre for all those who congregate and come into contact with one another at the table.
