Shengze Town Residences

The Shengze Town Residences project forms a modern riverside quarter. The property spans approx. 60,000 m² with a GFA of roughly 100,000 m². A total of around 500 apartments are grouped into three categories defined by height: high, mid and low-rise apartments. A mixture of linear and point-block structures are arranged like a chessboard to achieve a maximum visual openness and exposure to sunlight. Their design makes each building one-of-a-kind: a ‘spiralling band’ guides the façade design in which balconies and skyboxes recede and protrude above the efficient, purely rectangular base plate. The residential structures are enriched via a number of amenities, for instance a high-end spa around a sunken courtyard at the foot of one of the high-rise towers, and three rooftop restaurants. A sales centre is planned in order to showcase the whole residential project through exhibition and event facilities, which also include a show apartment, a VIP restaurant and sales offices. The entire draft design methodology is built upon parametric tools which will take over a key function ─ during the further planning and production process as well ─ in order to be able to ensure efficient project handling and execution along with economical building processes.
