The office lighting fixture Eloquia was developed for Zumtobel and blends harmoniously and fluidly into the office environment. Due to its natural shape it underscores an architecture devoted to people. The rounded-off, circular-shaped silhouette of the head is inspired by our natural source of light – the sun. The well-balanced design is both elegant and timeless, allowing it to be integrated into any modern architecture. The luminaire head, stanchion and base have been developed on the basis of a simple continuous line. The functional elements, such as precision sensors or control panels, constitute finely attuned details of a coherent overall appearance. What is created is a self-assured, style-confident and unobtrusive look. As a result of the combination comprised of minimalistic aesthetics and the greatest visual comfort, the room is filled with pleasantly beneficial light. Excellent glare reduction enhanced by the highest degree of evenness and first-rate MPO+ technology provide for an effective and superior lighting quality. MPO+ technology is a process in which micro-pyramidal optics diffract the light in a closely defined and highly specific way. The light is guided and creates contrasts without multiple shadows. Accordingly, this ensures precise illumination particularly suited for office work. In the case of similar optics, what becomes conspicuous is that the light is diffracted in different directions due to the rough surface of the pyramids and the distance between the different beams of light turns out to be different. The outcome is that diffuse, imprecise light arises within a space. In contrast, with Zumtobel MPO+ the diffracted beams of light are constantly parallel. The perfectly guided light diffraction creates eye-pleasing lighting displaying a perfect balance between diffuse and directed light.
