Baya
Nest boxBaya is an out-of-the-ordinary nesting place for small garden birds. The smallest of Hadi Teherani’s houses exhibits well-thought-out details. It consists of four elements made of plantation teakwood that are screwed together to form a homogeneous unit. The entrance hole and a tiny landing platform are made of stainless steel. The spindle-shaped object stems from a design-related role model in nature: the nest shape of the African weaver bird. Series production for Baya was allowed only after the ultra-mini-house received good marks in a target-group test and the prototypes were actually utilised for hatching. Unlike the usual situation for birdhouses, this nesting house can be placed freely in the garden or on a terrace.
